Accreditation Scoring Report

This report contains benchmarks and threshold used for accreditation scoring. Although it is posted annually, benchmarks and thresholds may be held constant for several years on a measure level; thus, the report does not reflect current HEDIS percentiles.

America's Best Health Plans (NCQA/U.S.News & World Report)

U.S. News & World Report publishes the top 50 commercial plans, with similar lists for the top 25 Medicaid and Medicare plans each year. The rankings are created using a weighted formula and include HEDIS measures, CAHPS scores and accreditation status. Analysis includes comparison and benchmarks at the national level. The web site lists over 500 ranked plans and allows direct comparison of up to four at a time.

HEDIS Audit Means, Percentiles and Ratios: 2008

This report includes prior year rates and eligible population information. The data are shown for each measure, and include the mean rate and the rate each percentile from 10 to 90.

Use: Auditor evaluation of health plans' current rates and enrollment counts to previous year.

Quality Compass

This product contains Commercial National, Regional and state averages and percentiles. The program contains information from all HEDIS measures, including utilization data in the Use of Services domain, and some selected CAHPS® rates for plans publicly releasing data. Quality Dividend Calculator

This product uses HEDIS plan data and employer demographics to calculate increased productivity and revenues when selecting accredited plans.

Relative Resource Use (RRU) Measures - National and Regional Results

This report includes the national and regional HMO and PPO results for five of the HEDIS RRU measures: RDI, RAS, RCA, RHY and RCO. At this time, NCQA is not distributing results for the RLB measure. If 0 or 1 plan submitted data for a particular product line, measure or measure reporting category, the data are not included in the benchmarks.

State of Health Care Quality

This report contains aggregate data with selected national HEDIS and CAHPS percentiles. It provides the national mean average and 10th and 90th percentiles for the current year, as well as previous years' national averages for the selected measures. It is posted to NCQA's Web site and includes additional information related to cost and productivity, as well as physician-level programs. A printed copy is available for purchase.
