The DQS Wrap: Actually, It’s a Digital Quality Summit Poem
August 4, 2020 · Matt Brock
If you were so unlucky to have missed NCQA and HL7’s Digital Quality Summit (DQS), then you need to check out this creative summary.
NCQA’s Executive Vice President of the Quality Measurement and Research Group, Michael S. Barr, MD, makes it a point to wrap up events like the Summit with some of his own well-crafted poetry. He debuted yet another for the sold-out DQS crowd.
We post it here, with links, to summarize and share. So if you missed it, you don’t have to miss out:
Peggy and Chuck
Gave us a great start.
With passion and mission,
They lead from the heart.
Noam the reporter,
And Harold the sage,
Provided keen insights
On the sociotechnical age.
Our working group leads
Gave lightning-fast greetings
And pitched the purposes
Of the five-track meetings.
Then Peggy interviewed
Vivian Lee.
About her book, healthcare,
And goings-on at Verily.
Michelle Schreiber,
Provided broad CMS descriptions
Of policies, goals and the…
Meaningful Measures 2.0 prescriptions.
We closed day one,
With ZDOGG MD.
A vision for Health 3.0
And anti-fragility.
Day two started with Danielle Brooks,
On health equity and ROI.
Then the tracks continued working
Tackling issues on the fly.
The Paper Killers panel,
Highlighted tremendous innovation.
Followed by Chuck Jaffe & Marc Overhage’s
Engaging conversation.
Deputy Secretary Hargan
Outlined key policies from HHS,
Which provided a fitting close
To 2020’s DQS.
Thank you for attending,
And engaging virtually.
