We are in Orlando and it’s not all Mickey Mouse.  No, we are here gearing up for PCMH Congress 2017!  This is an exciting gathering of practitioners, consultants and health care industry leaders from across the country all focused on transforming primary care into “what patients want it to be.”  

There’s a lot of new info at the conference this year. We’ll be diving into the new PCMH Recognition program and the MACRA Final Rule (released today!)  And there’s more…so much more… check out the agenda for this 3 day conference.

Highlights

Highlights include a Friday session on population health and its impact on the medical home neighborhood with Dominic H. Mack, MD, MBA, Executive Medical Director, Georgia Health Information Technology Extension Center, Georgia Health Connect. On Saturday, Mark H. Greenawald, MD, FAAFP, Medical Director of Physician Leadership and Professional Development and Chair, Professional Well-Being Committee, Carilion Clinic will speak from experience on re-energizing your practice and how the PCMH model impacts physician burnout.

Whether talking about payment reform or PCMH  sustainability, the PCMH Congress is also a great way for health care professionals to get together and share experiences and best practices.
