Every year, NCQA releases the State of Health Care Quality report.
The State of Health Care Quality Report 2017 documents performance over time and from that, we get a picture of the major quality issues facing the United States.
Our report gives a big picture look at what needs improvement and where we’ve succeeded.
This report is useful to track variations in care throughout the United States.
You can navigate the report here. Select “view the measures online” to get to the table of contents.
What’s in the Report?
The report collects data from around the country. More than 1,000 health plans voluntarily disclose the clinical quality, customer experience and resource use data that are the report’s foundation. All data are rigorously audited. Consumer experience information is independently collected and verified.
The wealth of data we receive from health plans allow us to carve out an overall picture of health care.
