Although the rate of heart-disease related deaths declined for decades, progress has stalled, and we are now seeing an uptick.
It’s crucial to educate health care providers and patients on the importance of cholesterol screening, a heart-healthy lifestyle and life-saving treatment options that can reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.
