Best Practices on How to Improve Antibiotic Stewardship from a Health Plan and State Perspective
Experts will give updates on health plan best practices for improving antibiotic stewardship using the four HEDIS measures, as well as state initiatives related to antibiotic stewardship using the same measures.

- Examine how a high performing health plan on the four HEDIS antibiotic measures promotes antibiotic stewardship within their organization.
- Assess how a state government agency can apply the HEDIS antibiotic measures to increase antibiotic stewardship statewide.
- Demonstrate how to apply the HEDIS antibiotic measures to monitor and improve antibiotic use and overuse within their own organization.
