John Glaser, PhD
Executive in Residence at Harvard Medical School
NCQA Board Member
John is an Executive-in-Residence at the Harvard Medical School Executive Education. Previously he was chief executive officer of Siemens Heath Services. Prior to Siemens, John was chief information officer at Partners HealthCare.
John was the founding chair of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and the past-president of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. He is the former Chair of the Global Agenda Council on Digital Health, World Economic Forum. He is former Senior Advisor to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
He has authored many articles and books on the strategic application of IT in health care. He is on the faculty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics and the Harvard School of Public Health.
Aashima Gupta
Director
Global Healthcare Strategy and Solutions, Google Cloud
Aashima spearheads Healthcare solutions for Google Cloud. In this role, she sets the direction for the transformative Healthcare solutions and leads engagement with healthcare key executives in helping transform their business strategies that define new models for care, revenue generation and improved patient experiences. By incorporating strategic technology elements of artificial intelligence and Cloud technologies into the care regimen, she strongly believes that patient care and experience can be substantially improved.
Aashima founded and led Healthcare vertical and interoperability efforts at Apigee and is a passionate advocate for Open Data and the use of APIs to overcome Healthcare data Silos. Previously, Aashima led Digital Health Incubations at Kaiser Permanente and brought several frameshifting opportunities to life including first-ever Kaiser Permanente API. She was responsible for driving innovation through the convergence of various digital technologies. She has authored several Healthcare articles and is a frequent speaker at industry forums.
Recently she was recognized as Most Influential Women in Healthcare IT by HIMSS and for the Top 100 Women in Fem Tech and Health Tech award.She is founder of GirlsInTek, an initiative with a purpose is to ignite girl’s innovative talent and interest in computer science.
Hilary Hatch, PhD
Chief Clinical Officer
Phreesia
Dr. Hatch leads the development of clinical programs at Phreesia. She partners with clinical leaders to improve quality performance through the implementation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs), social determinants of health (SDOH) and behavioral health screenings and patient activation modules to close gaps in care. In addition, she oversees research partnerships with organizations such as The Commonwealth Fund, Harvard University and City University of New York on topics such as patient access and vaccine hesitancy.
Prior to joining Phreesia, Dr. Hatch was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vital Score, a digital health company acquired by Phreesia in 2018. She is an Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins and serves on the faculty of the Psychoanalytic Association of NY (PANY) affiliated with NYU Langone Health. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from City University of New York, a postdoctoral certificate in psychoanalysis from PANY, and a BA from Columbia College.
Matt Tran
Director, Product Innovation
Centene Commercial Solutions
Matt leads member experience, product innovation, and strategic partnerships for Centene’s Ambetter business line, their Healthcare Marketplace product. In this role, he develops strategies to drive engagement that leads members to healthier lives. He also collaborates with other business leaders and partners to transform the health of the community through strategic alignment. By leveraging data and insights, implementing innovative programs, and developing unique value-add products, he can deliver high-quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare solutions.
Previously, Matt served as a leader in AI and emerging technologies as well as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Furthermore, he has held positions most notably with the University of Chicago Medicine, Northwestern Medicine, and Cerner Corporation. Matt received his master’s in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University and his bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
