Choosing the right vendor

Because health plans, other organizations, rely on quality measure reporting for decision making and for regulatory and contracting purposes, the reporting software they use for HEDIS^®, AMP and other quality measure reporting must be accurate. NCQA Measure Certification validates organizations that develop, license and sell HEDIS, AMP and other quality-measure reporting software that calculates measures using administrative data sources.

Organizations that rely on data produced by NCQA-Certified software code can be confident that the code has gone through the industry’s most rigorous assessment of whether they provide accurate data.

Verify your code with automated source code review

Health plans and Provider Organizations (POs) must verify their own software code using NCQA’s automated source code review (ASCR) process. NCQA works directly with organizations to apply the test deck method to the measures included in their software code. Find timeline information here.
